Dr. Kathleen Thompson believes in creating meaningful relationships and encouraging open communication with patients to embrace a team approach to medical care. The practice offers personalized medical care to address each patient’s immediate needs and concerns. We provide excellent healthcare including full obstetrical care and gynecology services from initial exam through menopause and beyond.
Dr. Thompson provides the most current procedures available and specializes in minimally invasive and DaVinci robotic surgeries for various conditions including pelvic pain, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and heavy menstrual bleeding. The practice also offers in-office procedures for quick recovery including hysteroscopy, Novasure endometrial ablation, and Essure tubal sterilization. Dr. Thompson takes pride in her holistic approach to medicine to find the best treatment, from conservative to surgical management, that serves each individual’s needs.
Dr. Thompson relocated from Chicago in 2013 to start practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, and Delray Beach area. She attended Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her internship and residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. During her training she received many accolades including Excellence as Chief Resident and the Douglas Rhone Legacy Award, which highlights Dr. Thompson’s ability to provide excellent medical care using an interdisciplinary team approach. She received her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Michelle Harsh is Board Certified in Medical-Surgical Nursing and is Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been in the healthcare field for more than 20 years. Michelle served in the United States Army as a Combat Medic where she was awarded the Army Medal of Accommodation for Valor by The United States Army.
Upon her proud completion of military service, she continued her medical career and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton and her Nurse Practitioners Degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. Michelle has extensive bedside nursing experience in some of the top hospitals in the nations, including NYU Medical Center and Stanford Medical Center.
Michelle joined Dr. Thompson in January 2019 to pursue her interest in women’s health and preventative medicine. When away from the office, Michelle is a proud mother of two and loves spending time with her family and friends.
